Chemical Peels

-

Chemical peels at Skin Chateau are used as a thoughtful, professional exfoliation tool—selected carefully based on individual skin needs and long-term goals.

Rather than being applied routinely or aggressively, peels are incorporated with intention, supporting skin clarity and function over time while respecting the skin’s integrity.

Understanding Peel Selection

-

Chemical peels at Skin Chateau are offered in two categories: Light Peels and Corrective Peels. Each serves a distinct role within a broader care plan and is selected based on skin readiness, history, and continuity of care.

Peels are not designed to deliver dramatic change in a single session. They are most effective when incorporated thoughtfully and, when appropriate, over time.

Light Peels

Light peels are available to both new and returning clients and are used to support gentle exfoliation, skin clarity, and preparation. These peels are intentionally conservative and designed to respect the skin barrier.

Light peels may be appropriate for:

  • Introducing the skin to professional exfoliation
  • Supporting overall skin function
  • Preparing the skin for more advanced care when appropriate

Light peels are not intended to produce corrective changes in a single session. Their role is foundational, not transformative.

Corrective Peels

Corrective peels are advanced treatments designed to address deeper concerns related to tone, texture, and pigmentation. At Skin Chateau, these treatments are offered only to clients enrolled in a facial membership.

This approach ensures:

• Continuity of care

• Proper skin preparation and conditioning

• Consistent monitoring of skin response

• Safer, more predictable outcomes

Corrective peels require 4–6 weeks of preparatory care, including the use of a tyrosinase inhibitor, and are introduced only when the skin is ready.

Corrective peels are not offered as standalone services or one-time treatments.

Why Corrective Peels Require Membership

Skin responds best when care is guided over time. Seeing clients regularly allows treatments to be selected responsibly, adjusted appropriately, and integrated into a broader plan for skin health.

At Skin Chateau, corrective work is approached with restraint and intention—prioritizing safety, skin integrity, and long-term outcomes over immediacy.
